Local storage, not cookies

This site sets no tracking cookies and no advertising cookies. Instead it uses your browser's local storage to keep your account, login session, and progress — virtual credit balance, XP, tier, and check-in streak.

Local storage stays on your device. It is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings, which will permanently delete your account and progress.

The three entries we write

• Account — created when you register. Holds your email address, username and password.
• Session — created when you log in, removed when you log out. Holds your username and nothing else.
• Profile — created with your account and never removed by logging out. Holds your credit balance, XP, tier, streak, playtime, achievements and cosmetic unlocks.

That is the complete list. There is no fourth entry, no identifier shared with a third party, and no cookie behind any of it.

Why there is no cookie banner

Consent banners exist because sites place cookies that track people across the web. This site places none, so there is nothing to ask you to consent to. The storage described above is strictly what makes an account and its progress work, and it is created only once you choose to register.

Third parties

Two external requests happen as you use the site. Fonts are fetched from Google Fonts, and demo games load from the game provider inside an embedded frame. Those services may set their own storage under their own domains, governed by their own policies. Neither receives anything about your account, balance or progress.

Clearing everything

Any browser's privacy settings will offer to clear site data for a domain. Doing that for shaktisings.org removes all three entries at once. The effect is immediate and permanent: the account, the balance, the tier, the streak and the achievements all go, and we have no copy to restore from.
